One New Man
The two trees represent the Hebrew and Gentile races, both of which are separated from Christ. The spirit of God draws a person up through the new birth (born again experience) to become one new man. [Eph 2] The star of David made out of a crown of thorns symbolizes our Hebrew roots or heritage.
The 7 strands of DNA represent a 7 branch menorah or lampstand. DNA’s job is to replicate and reproduce, thus the pomegranate fruit are representing fruitfulness. We are all lampstands made to reflect Christ and reproduce Jesus in this world. The Lord at times in our lives opens up new branches to our lampstands and lights new flames. Every time we step into our calling our spiritual DNA reproduces and Jesus is glorified in a new area. When a singer sings, poet writes or teacher teaches, spiritual DNA is replicating and the flame gets brighter.
